This page will be updated as some events will end and new ones begin. There is no graceful order to these listings so you will need to do some scrolling.

These city-run facilities are free and operate daily from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Lackawanna County Parks & Rec Swimming

Aylesworth Park, Archbald and Jermyn. The beach is open 7 days a week from dawn to dusk. Lifeguards are on duty only for special events. Pets are allowed. Fishing is not allowed at the beach area.
Covington Park, Covington Twp. The beach is open 7 days a week, dawn to dusk and lifeguards are on duty daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pets are allowed in the water outside of the swimming area, and there is no fishing in beach area.
Merli-Sarnoski Park, Fell Twp. The beach is open seven days a week from dawn to dusk. Lifeguards are on every duty Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 am to 7 p.m. Pets are allowed, and fishing is not allowed at the in-beach area.
McDade Park - Olympic-sized swimming pool & kid-friendly splash pad. Admission is free, and the pool is open and lifeguarded seven days a week in season. McDade’s playground has slides and swings that are wheelchair accessible, and there are plenty of areas for kids to climb, twirl, and explore. The playground includes a butterfly garden, wind chimes, sand and water tables, and two quiet areas for children with autism or sensory issues. 7 days a week 11am-7pm
